Welcome!
I'm Carlyn Barenholtz.
I am a born-and-raised New Yorker, lover of yellow, and self-proclaimed queen of breaking the ice.
Who am I?
I'm fearless about making a fool of myself, and I aim to lead people by example to be unabashed.
I do my best, on stage and off, to make the people around me feel at ease in my presence, giving them permission to participate (in life or in the narrative) with their whole selves.

My career to date has fulfilled my Sagittarian higher-calling of relentlessly traveling; I am currently on the Kinky Boots 2nd National Tour after 2 years of sailing the world with Disney Cruise Line​​.
I am a proud alum of two incredible schools: LaGuardia High School (where I studied Vocal Music) and Boston Conservatory (where I graduated with my BFA in Musical Theater and emphases in Playwriting, Devised Theater, and Dramaturgy).
Between contracts, I train with Actor Therapy and Jared Trudeau at Broadway Vox.
